Introducing Father Joseph and Father Matthew!!

The Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux is pleased to introduce Father Joseph Lapeyrouse and Father Matthew Prosperie. 

Effective July 24, Fr. Joseph will serve at St. Bernadette in Houma as Parochial Vicar.  On September 8, he will return to Rome to complete his studies in Canon Law.

Effective July 24, Fr. Matthew will serve at St. Hilary in Mathews and St. Anthony in Gheens as Parochial Vicar.

We invite all the faithful of the diocese to please pray for these new priests that the Lord might bestow every blessing upon them as they enter into this beautiful vocation. Thanks be to God!
