As our seminarians continue their formation this summer, they are working and serving in various places throughout our diocese. Below is information about each of them. Please pray for these men as they continue their formation and journey with our local community this summer.
Deacon Davis Ahimbisibwe is currently in Uganda, Africa visiting his family and preparing for his ordination on July 2. Following his ordination, he will serve at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral in Houma as Parochial Vicar.
Deacon Joseph Lapeyrouse is currently in Rome completing his studies before returning to the States later this month. He will then be preparing for his ordination on July 15. Following his ordination, effective July 24, he will serve at St. Bernadette in Houma as Parochial Vicar. On September 8, he will return to Rome to complete his studies in Canon Law.
Deacon Matthew Prosperie is currently in Rome completing his studies before returning to the States later this month. He will then be preparing for his ordination on July 15. Following his ordination, effective July 24, he will serve at St. Hilary in Mathews and St. Anthony in Gheens as Parochial Vicar.
Ryan Thibodaux is serving at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center and is residing at St Joseph the Worker Seminarian House of Formation. He will return to Notre Dame Seminary in August and begin studies in 3rd Theology.
Scott Beslin is serving at St. Hilary in Mathews. He will return to Notre Dame Seminary in August and begin studies in 2nd Theology.
Chad Cheramie is serving at St. Bernadette in Houma. He will return to St. Joseph Seminary College in August and begin studies in 4th Philosophy.
Wayne Romero is serving at Our Lady of Prompt Succor in Chackbay. He will return to St. Joseph Seminary College in August and begin studies in 4th Philosophy.
Ethan Henry is serving vocational outreach and projects at St. Joseph the Worker Seminarian House of Formation in Thibodaux as well as Masses at St. Thomas Aquinas in Thibodaux. He will begin formation at Notre Dame Seminary in August and begin studies in 1st Pre-Theology.
James Silk is serving vocational outreach and projects at St. Joseph the Worker Seminarian House of Formation in Thibodaux as well as Masses at St. Thomas Aquinas in Thibodaux. He will return to Notre Dame Seminary in August and begin studies in 2nd Pre-Theology.
