Welcome, New Brothers!

Our diocesan administrator, Fr. Simon Peter Engurait, is pleased to announce the admission of Anthony LaJaunie and Michael Robichaux into our priestly formation program for the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux. Earlier this week, Fr. Simon Peter met with Anthony and Michael who are excited to begin their formal discernment and preparation as seminarians for our Catholic community.

A 2022 graduate of E.D. White High School, Anthony has been most recently attending Nicholls State University. He enjoys spending time with the community at St Thomas Aquinas Student Center. He also enjoys heath and fitness, gaming, anime, and is a lover of the arts.

Michael is graduating from E.D. White High School this month. He enjoys tennis, golf, piano, and conversation over a good cup of coffee.

These two men are joyfully welcomed by their seminarian brothers: Scott Beslin, Chad Cheramie, James Silk, and Ethan Henry.

Anthony and Michael will formally begin their formation in August at St. Joseph the Worker Seminarian House of Formation in Thibodaux.

Please pray for all our seminarians as they continue their formation and journey with each other in working to become men of great virtue, prayer, and service.
