The Catholic Church throughout the United States celebrates Vocations Awareness Week each year during the first full week in November (Nov 3-9, 2024).  This week is purposefully celebrated around the same time as All Saints Day, which calls to mind the universal call to holiness.  Every person has a vocation to holiness - to love as God loves.  On our Christian journey, many of us choose a vocation to marriage, priesthood, or consecrated life - a permanent state in life where we live out that holiness in a particular way through a total and irrevocable gift of ourselves.

Our Office of Priestly Vocations offers vocational lesson plans to all our church parishes and schools.  These plans contain lessons on marriage, priesthood, consecrated life, and discernment.  These lessons were crafted by Vianney Vocations, a national ministry dedicated to the renewal of the Church by inspiring a new generation of priestly and religious vocations.  If you are a church parish, click here and learn more.  If you are a school, click here and learn more.
